Institute of Management, Nirma University encourages a large number of extra-curricular activities through its Clubs and Committees. Students receive a variety of enrichment and extracurricular activities to enhance their experiences.
The Students Welfare Committee is the aegis for all students’ extra-curricular and co-curricular activities on the campus. It functions as an interface between the administration of the Institute and the students to sort out matters concerning student-welfare. It strives to make the students’ experience as rewarding and memorable as possible. The Students Welfare Committee is responsible for developing, evaluating, executing and reviewing plans for student affairs in accordance with the vision, mission and strategic intent of the Institute.
It not only supports clubs and committees but also allows students to have fun and assume responsibilities by organising various events.
It works with the objective to emphasize the all-round development of the students with focus on physical, social, cultural and spiritual well-being.
Cultural Activities Conducted under Students Welfare Board
The Board organises various activities round the year for the students to develop and showcase their talents. Events like annual sports competitions, cultural festivals like Ras-Garba, celebration of the days of national importance, social initiatives are regularly organised in the campus. Institute level and Inter Institute competitions of cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho, kabaddi, lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis, carom, chess, and athletics are also held.
