The Institute of Management, Nirma University (IMNU), through its Literary Club Sumantra and the Nima Knowledge Centre, organized a two-day cultural event Avyana – Panktiyaan Bolti Hain on 9th and 10th September 2025 to mark the celebration of Hindi Divas.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Pranav Saraswat (ICNU) and Dr. Yogendra Batra (ILNU) as judges, whose encouragement added value and inspiration to the participants. With more than 55 participants, including students, faculty, and staff, the program showcased vibrant performances such as poetry recitations, speeches, filler games, and self-composed verses. The performances touched upon themes like motherhood, women’s strength, and the timeless beauty of the Hindi language, leaving the audience inspired and engaged.
The competitions reflected the diverse talent of the Nirma University community. In the self-composed poetry recitation category, Madhav Maheshwari (Institute of Technology) secured the first place, followed by Heer Thakkar and Dharmil Vyas. In the teacher section, the first place was awarded to Shree Kant (Institute of Design). In the poetry recitation category, Dharmil Vyas (Institute of Technology) won first place, while Vijayeta Bhankharia (Institute of Management) and Krishna Thakkar (Institute of Science) were declared second and third respectively. From the teacher section, Shefali Waldekar (Institute of Technology) was recognized for her contribution.
The celebration concluded with heartfelt gratitude extended to the teachers, staff, and students whose support made Avyana – Panktiyaan Bolti Hain a memorable success. As a tribute to Hindi Divas, the event not only honored the richness of Hindi literature but also strengthened the bond of cultural expression within the Nirma University community.
