    Supernumerary Seats
    Fifteen percent of the intake is allocated for admission to NRI students. Over and above fifteen percent seats are also allocated to Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Students/Children of Indian workers of Gulf countries and South East Asia.

    Eligibility & Admission Procedure

    65% of the total in-take shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and have appeared in the personal interview to be conducted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad for the corresponding academic year.

    Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination from the school located in India (including Gujarat State) and recognised by Nirma University, with a minimum 60% aggregate marks at first attempt.

    The candidate is required to apply online with following steps.

    • Users should register a new account to log into the online application form. The login details will be used for filling the admission form and checking the status of the application later.
    • After successful login the admission form will be displayed.
    • Applicants should complete the online application form and submit the same along with a non-refundable admission processing fee of  Rs.1500/- +other applicable taxes. The payment should be made online by credit/debit/net banking.
    • Read the Admission Application Instructions carefully before filling up the form.
    • Fill in the on line application form and submit it along with an online payment of Rs.1500/- +other applicable taxes by credit card/debit card/net banking

    The merit shall be determined based on the following criteria:

    Personal Interview (PI) Score 20%

    A Personal Interview (PI) will be conducted online as a part of admission selection process.

    For BBA Phase
    Tuition Fee (General Category) Rs. 2,34,700 per annum
    COVID-19 Relief Scholarship for all the students admitted in All-India Category and Gujarat Category for the Academic Year 2020-21 only Rs. 17,400/-
    Activity Fee Rs. 10,000/- per annum
    Examination Fee Rs. 7,000/- per annum
    For MBA Phase
    Tuition Fee The fees of the regular MBA programme of the Institute shall apply.

    15% of the total intake of the BBA-MBA [Five Year Integrated Programme] will be filled by Institute of Management, Nirma University with following eligibility criteria.

    (A) For NRI (Self)

    1. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination recognized by Nirma University with minimum 60% aggregate marks at first attempt.
    2. Candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

    (B) For NRI Sponsored

    1. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination recognized by Nirma University with minimum 60% aggregate marks at first attempt.
    2. The candidates are required to appear in the Personal interview to be conducted by the Institute of Management.

    NRI Sponsored candidates will have to produce a sponsorship letter from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program. Documentary evidence of Sponsorer having NRI Status must also be produced.

    Note

    In case of Letter Grades/Performance Indices or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is required from school authorities on the day of confirmation of admission

    The candidates applying in the above category are not required to appear for Entrance Test and admission selection process will be purely based on the merit of qualifying examination.

    For BBA Phase
    NRI Tuition Fee US$ 6500 or equivalent in Indian Rupees per annum
    Activity Fee Rs. 10,000/- per annum
    Examination Fee Rs. 7,000/- per annum
    For MBA Phase
    Tuition Fee The annual tuition fees for the MBA phase (4th & 5th Year) will be the same as applicable to the MBA programme NRI Category students at that point of time.

    The admission will be offered to the candidates from the schools located within the state of Gujarat with minimum 90% aggregate marks in their first attempt. However, the admission will be offered to the candidates from the Gujarat Board and all other Boards proportionately, based on the number of applications received and meeting the eligibility criteria.

    The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination recognized by Nirma University from the schools located within the State of Gujarat with minimum 90% aggregate marks at first attempt.

    Online Application Process:

    • Users should register a new account to log into the online application form. The login details will be used for filling the admission form and checking the status of the application later.
    • After successful login the admission form will be displayed.
    • Gujarat State Category applicants should complete the online application form and along with payment of non-refundable admission processing fee of  Rs. 1500/- +other applicable taxes. The payment should be made online by credit/debit/net banking.
    • The candidates already applied/registered under All India Category can also apply under Gujarat State Category [if eligible] by paying additional application processing charge of Rs. 350/-.

    The international students can apply under one of the following two categories:

    Category 1 : Foreign Nationals having non-Indian passports (FN), OR foreign students having non-Indian passport and also having the OCI or PIO card (OCI/PIO) can apply under OCI/PIO/FN Supernumerary category that has 10% seats reserved.

    Category 2 : Students whose parents are currently working in Gulf countries or South-east Asia can apply under CIWGC-SEA Supernumerary category that has 5% seats reserved. The students must hold Indian passports, and should have passed qualifying exams either from India or outside of India.
