    The Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad shall fill 65% of the total intake from candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from schools located in India (including Gujarat State). These candidates must have also appeared in the personal interview conducted by the Institute for the corresponding academic year.

    The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat Sate) and recognized by Nirma University with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

    To apply for admission, the candidate must log in online and follow the steps:

    • Register a new account to access the online application form. This account will be used for future reference.
    • Log in and complete the admission form, paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1500/- plus applicable taxes online using credit/debit/net banking.
    • Carefully read the admission application instructions before filling out the form.

    The merit shall be determined based on the following criteria:

    The admission will be offered to the candidates from the schools located within the state of Gujarat with minimum 90% aggregate marks in their first attempt. However, the admission will be offered to the candidates from the Gujarat Board and all other Boards proportionately, based on the number of applications received and meeting the eligibility criteria.

    The candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination recognized by Nirma University from the schools located within the State of Gujarat with minimum 90% aggregate marks.

    Online Application Process: 

    • Gujarat State Category Online Application Form will be available after H.S.C (12th) results.
    • Read the Admission Application Instructions carefully before filling up the form. The instructions are available on link given below.
    • Users should register a new account to log into the online application form. The login details will be used for filling the admission form and checking the status of the application later.
    • After successful login the admission form will be displayed.
    • Gujarat State Category applicants should complete the online application form and along with payment of non-refundable admission processing fee of  Rs. 1500/- +other applicable taxes. The payment should be made online by credit/debit/net banking.
    • The candidates already applied/registered under All India Category can also apply under Gujarat State Category [if eligible] by paying additional application processing charge of Rs. 350/-.

    The final merit shall be determined based on the following criteria:

    • Weightage of performance in Personal Interview: 30%

    15% of the total intake of the BBA-MBA [Five Year Integrated Programme] will be filled by Institute of Management, Nirma University with following eligibility criteria.

    (A) For NRI (Self)

    • Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination recognized by Nirma University with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
    • Candidate will have to produce equivalence certificate of qualifying examination from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.

    (B) For NRI Sponsored

    • Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination recognized by Nirma University with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
    • The candidates are required to appear in the IPMAT Test and Personal Interview to be conducted by the Institute of Management.

    NRI Sponsored candidates will have to produce a sponsorship letter from an NRI who will undertake to pay all tuition and other fees for the entire degree program. Documentary evidence of Sponsorer having NRI Status must also be produced.

    Note

    In case of Letter Grades/Performance Indices or Graded Point Average is awarded instead of percentage marks in qualifying examination, equivalence certificate is required from school authorities on the day of confirmation of admission

    For MBA Phase
    Tuition Fee The annual tuition fees for the MBA phase (4th & 5th year) will be the same as applicable to the MBA programme NRI Category students at that point of time.

    15% of total seats in each program being conducted at the constituent institutes of Nirma University, is available for admission to International Students under the Supernumerary categories like Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and Foreign Nationals (FN); out of which one-third i.e 5% seats are earmarked for CIWGC-SEA and 10% for OCI/FN. If the OCI/FN is not filled, the quota is available to CIWGC-SEA.

    Categories for International Students

    A) Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and South East Asia (CIWGC-SEA)
    The candidates whose parents are working in Gulf countries or South East Asia are eligible under this category.

    B) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
    The persons who are citizens of other countries (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held an Indian Passport, or who or either of his parents or any of his grandparents was a citizen of India by virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Sec 2 (b) of Citizenship Act, 1955 (Act No. 57 of 1955) are eligible under this category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are considered under this category. Earlier OCIs were called PIOs.

    C) Foreign Nationals (FN)
    The citizens of all countries other than India, who are not of Indian origin as defined under PIO are eligible under this category. This category includes SAARC countries also.

    Scholarship Scheme for the students admitted in Integrated BBA-MBA [BBA Phase] for Academic Year 2023-2024 onwards.

    The Nirma University provides scholarships to meritorious students studying in the programmes under it on the Merit and Merit-cum Means basis. The scholarship mentioned is subject to the regulatory provisions and meeting with prescribed criteria, as may be decided by the university from time to time.

    Eligibility criteria for continuation/ renewal of the scholarship

    Continuation/Renewal of the Scholarship in the subsequent years will be as per the University policy which may differ on a semester/year basis. However, it will be subject to meeting of minimum eligibility criteria, as under:

    1. During the entire previous year, the conduct of the student should be good
    2. No acts or omission which results in unlawful behavior, malafide intention maligning the University brand in digital, print, or social media, promoting, supporting or sharing any content which is against the University brand
    3. No disciplinary action was initiated/sanctioned against the student under the student handbook or compliance with norms as prescribed by the University
    4. The student should maintain merit and get CGPA of 7.0 and above and should have passed all courses of study in the first attempt in the previous year
    5. The student is not caught in unfair means in any of the examinations conducted either by the Institute or University
    6. The student should maintain minimum attendance criteria except the absence with genuine reasons for which the permission of the HoI was obtained particularly in the case of illness
    7. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to check the eligibility before submitting application. In case the applicant is found non-eligible at any stage, his/her submission or scholarship will be disqualified

    The students admitted under Non-Resident Indian (NRI)/NRI Sponsored) or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals (FN) or Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) categories are not be eligible for the scholarships.

    The number of scholarships mentioned above is maximum and may vary based on the number of seats filled underNRI category in the first year.

    The President shall have power to make any exception in the above rules framed.

    However, in case of any doubt in interpretation of any clause, the decision of the President shall be final.

    Vidya Lakshmi is a first of its kind portal for students seeking Education Loan. This portal has been developed under the guidance of the Department of Financial Services, (Ministry of Finance), the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and the Indian Banks Association (IBA). The portal has been developed and being maintained by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited.
