Scholarships

The Nirma University provides scholarships to meritorious students studying in the programmes under it on the Merit and Merit-cum Means basis. The scholarship mentioned is subject to the regulatory provisions and meeting with prescribed criteria, as may be decided by the university from time to time.

Scholarship Scheme for the students admitted in BBA-MBA [Five Year Integrated programme].

The Nirma University provides scholarships to meritorious students studying in the programmes under it on the Merit and Merit-cum Means basis. The scholarship mentioned is subject to the regulatory provisions and meeting with prescribed criteria, as may be decided by the university from time to time.

Top 02 Students 100% of the Fee
Other 02 Students 75% of the Fee
Other 04 Students 50% of the Fee

The above scholarship will be renewed every year subject to the following conditions:

  1. During the entire previous year the conduct of the student is good.
  2. The student should maintain merit and get PPI of 7.0 and above and should have passed all courses of study in the first attempt in the previous year.
  3. The student should not be caught in the Unfair means in any of the examination conducted either by the Institution or by the University
  4. The student should maintain full attendance except the absence with genuine reason for which the permission of the HOD/HOI is obtained particularly in case of illness.
Details Amount (per annum)
1. 02 students whose parents’ total annual income is Rs. 2.5 lacs or less. (students merit is within first 50 of the students admitted) 100% of the Fee
2.  02 students whose parents’ total annual income is Rs. 4.0 lacs or less. (students merit is within first 75 of the students admitted) 90% of the Fee
3.  04 students whose parents’ total annual income is 6.0 lacs or less. 75% of the Fee

The above all scholarships will be subject to the following conditions:

  1. All the conditions narrated under category-I above will be made applicable.
  2. The students should be within top 75 in the merit list of the students admitted.

The number of scholarships mentioned above is maximum and may vary from year to year depending upon the number of NRI seats filled – in a year.

The students admitted under the Non Resident Indian (NRI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Foreign Nationals (FN) or Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) categories will not be eligible for such scholarships.

The President of the University will have power to make any exception in the above rules framed. However, in case of doubt, if any, in interpretation of any clause, the decision of the President will be final.

This portal has been developed under the guidance of the Department of Financial Services, (Ministry of Finance), the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and the Indian Banks Association (IBA). The portal has been developed and being maintained by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. Scholarship Scheme for students of MBA admitted in General Category during the academic year 2020-21 and onwards.

To encourage and help the meritorious students on the basis of merit and merit-cum­-means, the University has decided to provide the scholarships as under:

First 30 students admitted in the programme in the merit order 1 to 30 among the admitted students, would be paid Rs.1,00,000/- [Rupees One lacs only] per annum as MBA Scholarships for the first year of the programme.

The above scholarship will be renewed every year subject to the following conditions:

  • During the entire previous year the conduct of the student is good.
  • The student should maintain merit and obtain CGPA 7.0 & above for MBA. They should have passed all courses of study in the first attempt in the previous year.
  • The student is not caught using Unfair means in any of the examination conducted either by the Institution or by the University.
  • The student maintains full attendance except for the absence with a genuine reason for which the permission of the Programme Chairperson / Director is obtained particularly in case of illness.

Note: The number of scholarships mentioned above is the maximum, and may vary based on the number of seats filled in the first year.

  • The first 25 students, whose parent`s total annual income is less than Rs. 3,50,000/- per annum, would be paid Rs. 1,00,000/- [Rupees One lac only] per annum as MBA Scholarships for the first year of the programme.
  • Another 25 students, whose parent`s total annual income is less than Rs. 5,00,000/- per annum, would be paid Rs. 50,000/- [Rupees Fifty Thousand only] per annum as MBA Scholarships for the first year of the programme.
  • Another 25 students, whose parent`s total annual income is less than Rs. 6,00,000/- per annum, would be paid Rs. 25,000/- [Rupees twenty five thousand only] per annum as MBA Scholarships for the first year of the programme.
