Institute of Management, Nirma University is the brainchild of the visionary industrialist, Dr Karsanbhai K Patel. He is the founder of the Nirma Group of Industries. He is the chief architect of brand Nirma, a trusted name in consumer product categories in the country. He is the recipient of the ‘Padma Shri’, a civilian award conferred by the Government of India in 2010, in recognition of his entrepreneurial and philanthropic accomplishments.
