The Institute of Management, Nirma University (IMNU) hosted its flagship two-day Management Conclave, Utkrishta 2025, centred on the theme “Leading India Inc in the BANI World.” The conclave brought together industry leaders across Marketing, Operations, HR, Finance, Digital Transformation, and Entrepreneurship, giving students a platform to understand how businesses can thrive in a Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear and Incomprehensible environment.
The conclave commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Nityesh Bhatt, Director, IMNU, who stressed that leaders must build resilience and agility to navigate today’s unpredictable business environment. The theme of the conclave was introduced by Dr. Satish Nair, Conclave Coordinator, followed by an address from the Chief Guest, Shri Jagdeep Kochar, CEO (IT & IT Services), IMS Group, who reflected on the global shifts since the 1990s and India’s evolving trade dynamics and growing technological influence.
Day 1 featured a Marketing panel, “The Marketer’s Challenge: Driving Customer-Centric Growth in a BANI
World,” with Mr. Ashish Bhatia, Chief Operating Officer, Agilus Diagnostics, and Mr. Abhishek Gupta, Managing Director & Chief Customer Officer, Pantomath Capital Advisors Pvt. Ltd., who spoke on building customer trust through transparency and data-led marketing. This was followed by an Operations session, “Rewired for Risk: Operational Resilience in an Era of Constant Volatility,” with Mr. Mandar Shirsavakar, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Translytics; Mr. Satya Pal, Senior Director, Delhivery; and Mr. Kiran Kumar Panda, Executive Vice President, Atul Ltd., who noted that technology must serve people, not replace them. The day closed with an HR session, “HR at the Crossroads: Making Sense of Complexity Through Data and Human Insights,” where Mr. Sudhir Aggarwal, Chief Human Resource Officer & Director, Orbit Techsol, spoke on using AI and analytics to foster empathy and alignment between people and business goals, positioning HR as both an art and a science.
Day 2 opened with a Finance session, “Revisiting Financial Decision-Making in a BANI World,” featuring Mr. Ketan Pancholi, Senior Vice President, GIFT Co. Ltd., and Dr. Shravani Shahapure, Associate Director, Deloitte, who spoke on adaptive planning and the growing role of AI and predictive analytics in strategic decisions. This was followed by a Digital Transformation & Analytics session, “Thriving in Tech Turbulence: Building Resilient Enterprises for a BANI World,” with Ms. Mehjabeen Taj Aalam, Chief Digital & Information Officer, Raychem RPG, and Mr. Tejinder Oberoi, Executive Director, Cygnet Infotech, who discussed ethical governance and digital safeguards in an AI-driven world. The final session, on Entrepreneurship and Family Business, featured Dr. Arnab Banerjee, Director, Supply Chain AI Solutions, Micron Technology, who shared his ‘Triple-A Mantra’ – Attitude, Aptitude and Aspiration, and Mr. Ashish
Bhuta, Chairman and Managing Director, Jenburkt Pharmaceuticals, who urged students to pursue wisdom over intelligence.
The conclave concluded with a valedictory address by Mr. Jajati Mohanty, Chief Executive Officer, Schiebel
SystemsIndia Pvt. Ltd., who reflected on India’sjourney from historical resilience to technological disruption. Utkrishta 2025 closed with Prof. Chetan Jhaveri, Conclave Coordinator, extending a vote of thanks to all the speakers, faculty members, all clubs and committees, administrative staff, and studentsfor their contribution to the conclave’s success.
