Students’ Activities Committee

A sustained ambience of energy and creativity defines the campus life at the Institute of Management, Nirma University. World-class infrastructure and amenities ably scaffold academic, residential, sports, and other activities through student-managed clubs and committees. These are aimed at creating avenues for multi-faceted personality development through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Students’ Activities Committee

Institute of Management, Nirma University encourages students to participate in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities through its Clubs and Committees. The Student Welfare Committee oversees all extra-curricular and co-curricular activities on campus. It functions as an interface between institute’s administration and students with the primary goal of creating a healthy environment for students’ development and welfare. This Committee is responsible for developing, evaluating, executing and reviewing plans for student activities in conjuncture with the vision, mission and strategic intent of the institute with the overall aim of making student experience as rewarding and memorable as possible.

Cultural Activities Conducted under Students Welfare Board

The Board organises various activities around the year for students to develop and showcase their talents. Events like annual sports competitions, cultural festivals like Ras-Garba, celebration of nationally important days and social initiatives are regularly organised. Institute level and inter-institute competitions of cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho, kabaddi, lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis, carom, chess, and athletics are also held.
