The Institute of Management, Nirma University is a constituent Institution of Nirma University. Nirma University and its constituent Institutions are accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission, Government of India with an “A+” grade in 2022. This accreditation status indicates that Nirma University and all its constituent Institutions meet the standards of quality as set by NAAC, in terms of its performance related to educational processes and outcomes; covering the curriculum, teaching-learning process, evaluation, faculty, research, infrastructure, learning resources, organisation, governance, financial well-being and student service.

Institute of Management, Nirma University (IMNU) is duly accredited by South Asian Quality Assurance System), (SAQS) for five years (till 2029) by the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA), an International Association, and a SAARC recognised body. The Institute is now in the league of global B-schools through its SAQS International accreditation which reflects the Institute’s continuous quality improvement system bench-marked with the leading global B- schools in the world.

The MBA (full time) programme of the Institute has been re-accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) till June 2025 reflecting high standards of the programme.

The Institute of Management has established itself as one of the leading B-schools in the country. The Institute has been consistently ranked among the top thirty B-schools in India in the B-school surveys, conducted by leading business magazines and newspapers, such as Business World, The Pioneer, Business Today, Outlook and the Business Standard.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has consistently ranked Nirma University among the top 100 institutions in the country. The NIRF framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.

  • The Institute has been ranked as 45th Best B-School overall by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) July 2022 released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
  • Additionally, the Institute has been ranked 27th overall and 10th best in private Institutes in Teaching / Learning Resources reflecting our high standards of imparting management education

  • Ranked 28th Best B-School pan India and 13th among Top Private B-Schools in India by Businessworld, November 2022.
  • Ranked 27th Best B-School overall and 16th among Top Private B-Schools in India by The Week, November 2022.
  • Ranked 8th Best Private B-School in the West Zone by India Today, November 2022.

  • Ranked as 5th Best Private B-School pan India and also listed in the A1 category among the top 30 B-Schools in the country by Business Standard and published in February 2022.
  • Ranked 29th Best B-School pan India and 14th among Top Private B-Schools in India by Businessworld published in January 2022.
