Every year, events are planned for the alumni to get together and reconnect. In recent years, alumni gatherings have increasingly been held concurrently in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore. Faculty, officers, and prominent graduates have all participated in these gatherings. Interaction with the alumni community is not restricted to prearranged gatherings, but events like Prathidwani. It?s a one-day conclave where alumni are invited to share their corporate wisdom with the students.
Alumni are also encouraged to participate in academic area committees responsible for revising the program’s overall course offerings. The Institute has included senior alumni as part of the admission interview panel in order to have an industry and alumni perspective in the selection of candidates for admission in MBA, MBA-HRM, IMBA Programme. Former alumni are welcomed to campus to share their expertise with current students and professors through guest lectures and discussions. Members of the alumni community serve on the Board of Studies and contribute significantly to the curriculum development process.
Some alumni have returned to teach at the Institute as visiting professors. Active alums contribute to the improvement of Alumni Relations as members of the IMNU Alumni Board. Every year on the first Saturday of October, a celebration called Alumni Day is held, and many former students return to reminisce. Alumni are invited to a general assembly when their suggestions are heard and implemented whenever possible. Alumni are asked to speak in an annual event called Pratidhwani, which is held on the first Saturday of February.
The Institute has benefited greatly from the assistance of our Alumni in finding jobs for our students. Involved alums actively participated in campus recruitment by joining the visiting team. The Institute’s mentorship and buddy program gives students unique access to a large group of alumni who are prepared to share their knowledge and experiences from the business world with them. This program’s events will have a long-lasting effect on our campus culture and assist prepare our students for bright futures. The alums will be able to give back to the current students by sharing their knowledge and insights gained from both their professional and personal lives. Students will be able to hone their abilities and acquire new knowledge with the help of our network of seasoned alums through the mentorship program.
