  • Dr. Madakam is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Information Management) in Institute of Management, NIRMA University, Ahmedabad.  Besides, he worked for FORE School of Management, New Delhi in the IT area around four years. He also worked for Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, circa six years as a Systems Analyst cum programmer. Due to keen interest in research and academics, in 2012 joined the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) for doing Fellow Program in Management (FPM) and did doctrine on “Internet of Things (IoT) Technologies in Smart Cities: An Exploratory Study in India.” Dr. Madakam had completed his postdoctoral studies from the G.G. Faculty of Business and Management at Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva (Israel). He also qualified for Indian UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship. So far, he presented his academic research work in both Inter/national conferences including at Bangkok, Dubai, Alicante, Fairfax (USA) and Porto. He has done four days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in Bali (Indonesia). Moreover, he published more than 30 articles together with journals, book chapters and posters. and has bagged more than 3900 citations. He is an evangelist on “The New Language of Publications.”
