
Computing facilities for the students include a well-equipped lab. A state-of-the-art gigabit network connects every corner of the institute. Every student and faculty member has a networked laptop computer at his or her disposal. High-speed servers run on a variety of platforms to suit all kinds of requirements and support the entire network. A 7 Gbps (7000 Mbps) (w.e.f. 01/09/2025) dedicated optic fiber leased line and High Performance Wi-Fi Access Points enable round the clock Internet connectivity on the campus. Students and faculty have access to computing labs equipped with tools like SPSS, Amos, Eviews, SmartPLS, and NVIVO and twelve Bloomberg Terminals Internet mail servers are also available to students and faculty around the clock. Wi-Fi is available 24×7 across all buildings, classrooms, labs, cafeteria, Hostel H4, and even outdoor areas, ensuring seamless connectivity for all.
Library Resource Centre (LRC)Nirma University has an extensive library system, comprising a multidisciplinary collection of resources, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, which is now named the NIMA Knowledge Centre.
The library provides access to a wide range of management and business information sources, including leading national and International Business Periodicals, as well as an impressive collection of Business Databases, Digitized Corporate Annual Reports, and CDs/DVDs. The library comprises over 1,40,000 books and other library resources. About 1,10,500 e-books and 40 plus databases across different disciplines on the campus.
The library subscribes to 12 databases and approximately 10,826 e-journals through databases such as EBSCO’s Business Source Ultimate, JSTOR, Elsevier’s ScienceDirect- Business Management & Accounting Package, and Sage Journals Collection. The library subscribes to the ISI Emerging Markets Database, which provides trade-related information from all over the world. The financial and economic databases subscribed to by the library are ACE Equity, ACE Mutual Funds, and CMIE’s Prowess. In an academic setting, it helps future professionals to integrate theory with real-world practice by empowering them with datasets and exposing them to global economic scenarios. The library also subscribes to Indiastat.com, which is a socioeconomic database.
Library has provided spaces for different needs, like Discussion rooms, a digital lab, cubicles, a light reading area, a training room, etc.
The library is fully automated and accessible on the campus LAN, operating on specialized library software, open-source KOHA. The user-friendly package facilitates the issue and return of books, as well as online access to the catalogue (i.e., Web catalogue) and the reservation of books. The library has adopted the latest ICT tools, including CD, DVD, Multimedia Kits, Barcode scanners, and text and graphic scanners, for the effective use of library services.

HostelsThe Institute has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are four hostel buildings located on the campus. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The hostels have sports and other recreational facilities such as cable TV, a common room for interaction, etc. All hostel rooms have Internet connectivity round the clock. The hostel mess is outsourced to a professional caterer.
CCTV SystemThe university has installed a CCTV subservience Monitoring System in all the academic areas of the university covering the areas such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, studios, and reading rooms. The other areas under surveillance include common places viz. building entrances, corridors, parking, canteens, etc. The cameras are closely monitored at an appropriate level by the University authorities.
