LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST

Life at the Institute of Management, Nirma University is designed to be vibrant and exciting with events and celebrations that enrich students intellectually and personally, transforming them into better individuals.

Fun-filled events, excursions, welcome ceremonies, farewell parties, and get-togethers are organised by students. Celebration of festivals such as Diwali, Navratri and Makar Sankranti add to bonhomie and camaraderie. The Institute also organises annual curricular events, apart from the regular events and the events organised by the students’ clubs.

Today’s budding managers must consider the world as their workplace. Keeping this in view, the Institute has been organising international conferences since 1998 to give its faculty members and students an opportunity to interact with personalities and professionals of repute from all over the world.

Utkrishta: The Management Conclave
This is an annual event in which Corporate Gurus address students to initiate and chaperon them into the world of management.

Perspective
The Institute organises an academic conference for scaffolding managerial journey, named Perspective. The conference deals with perceiving what is beyond and taking a vantage position. Reputed business schools are invited to participate in this conference. Shared learning is enhanced through activities such as paper presentations, business plan contests, business quizzes, book reviews, business cartoon contests, and panel discussions.

Students Activities

The Institute believes that it is its responsibility to develop students as managers right at the campus. Students are considered as active partners in managing institute level activities, conferences, training programmes, guest lectures, seminars, and cultural programmes. It is ensured that they play an active role, rather than remain passive recipients. Students are thus provided an opportunity to demonstrate their management skills, developed during their two years learning of MBA, in initiating and organising different co-curricular and extracurricular activities. These activities are not merely for academic learning, but also provide the platform for interpersonal growth and the pleasure that comes with achieving the unthinkable.
