Niche- The Marketing Club of IMNU organized its first event of the new academic year (2019-2020), ‘Brandwizer’ on the 25th July 2019. Students participated in teams of 3.
An online pre-event ‘Brandtakshri’ generated the buzz which triggered students in large numbers to participate. The pre-event was held a day before the main event.
The event had three rounds. The first round was an elimination round in which students were given a questionnaire related to taglines, logos, CEOs and founders of brands. 16 teams out of 75 teams were shortlisted for the second round. The second round was an amalgamation of dumb charades and crossword puzzles. One member from each team was given a list of brands that he/she had to enact, and the other two members had to identify and fill the crossword puzzle accordingly.
Winners of the second round qualified for the last round which had a combination of physical tasks and test of dexterity which came out to be an interesting concept. It was based on a brand relay where the members had to match brand names with respective taglines and logos from a pool of cues. The winning team was ‘Vivacious’ with ‘3 idiots’ and ‘Brand Babas’ following them as runners ups. Winners received gift hampers and vouchers. The competition was a fun way to bring all the brand freaks and creative minds together.
