IMNU organised 23rd Nirma International Conference on Management (NICOM 2020). The chief guest for the inaugural session was Mr. Santosh Desai, MD & CEO, Futurebrands. Mr. Desai emphasized on the fact that the previous generation believed in the power of accumulation. On the contrary, the current generation’s world is rapidly moving towards an idea of flow, which means experiences over possession, usage over ownership and timeliness vs permanence. Books titled “Innovations in Marketing” and “Customer, Competition and Marketing Strategy” and Prasthavana – the book of abstracts were released by the dignitaries.
Conference has received 192 abstracts and 87 full paper from United States, Bangladesh and India, which will be presented in five concurrent tracks during the three days of conference. Total 52 selected papers have been published in two books namely “Customer, Competition & Marketing Strategy” and “Innovations in Marketing”, which will be released during the inaugural ceremony.
In addition, six plenary sessions took place in which Mr. Pradeep Poddar, Director Monsanto; Mr. Yatish Mehrishi, COO – Radio Mirchi; Mr. Vijay Parthasarthi, CEO – InTouch Consulting; Mr. Maharana Ray, VP – Probiking , BAJAJ Auto Ltd, Mr. Puneet Avasthi- Senior Executive officer – Kantar, Ms. Rutu Mody Kamdar, Founder – JigsawBrand Consultants, Mr. R.Balasubramanian, an (International Healthcare Expert) shared their marketing insights. Mr. Nitin Parekh, CFO – Zydus Cadila delivered the valedictory address on 5th Jan. 2020.
