The Finance and Accounting area strives to equip business professionals with the skills necessary to create sustainable value for businesses and society. The finance curriculum focuses on developing students’ abilities to make informed decisions regarding investments, financing, working capital, and dividends in order to maximize stakeholder, firm, and societal value. The accounting curriculum concentrates on providing students with the necessary skills to utilize accounting information for effective decision-making and to analyze financial reports for practical implications. To enhance students’ knowledge and skills, the department provides practical knowledge and analytical skills through workshops, seminars, lectures, live projects, guest lectures, and real-world case studies. Moreover, the area provides access to a finance research and trading lab equipped with a Bloomberg terminal and relevant databases like CMIE and Ace Equity.
