28th Nirma International Conference on Management

28th Nirma International Conference on Management

The Nirma International Conference on Management (NICOM) is an esteemed annual international management conference hosted by the Institute of Management, Nirma University. NICOM serves as a platform for academicians, researchers, and practicing managers to engage in meaningful discussions on contemporary developments and issues related to businesses in the modern era. With a successful history spanning over 26 years, the upcoming NICOM-2025, scheduled for January 8-10, 2025, will mark the 28th consecutive conference. The theme for the NICOM-2025 is:

BUSINESS AND SUSTAINABILITY: CREATING SYNERGY FOR FUTURE

Sustainable development is accepted by the United Nations to promote economic development. However, with the current business practices the gains from these economic activities may not reach the bottom of the societal pyramid, resulting in social imbalance along with environmental degradation. This in turn poses obstacles in creating a sound business climate in the country. Businesses traditionally compete to provide the best product or services but this approach ignores the due importance of sustainable practices for the society and the planet at large. In the present scenario, businesses should commit to measure their social and environmental impact in addition to their financial performance. Firms can use the three P’s (People, Profit, and Planet) to conceptualize their business strategies for achieving sustainable development goals (SDG).

The conference aims to discuss real-world problems and explore solutions for sustainable management practices in all functional domains. This conference is an endeavor to provide a platform for academicians, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and research findings to address concerns and obstacles faced by business and industry.

NICOM – 2025 provides a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, strategies, and information. The conference aims to promote research and theory building, furthering the scientific foundations of the management discipline. It will feature plenary sessions delivered by distinguished academicians, industry leaders, and policymakers, as well as paper presentations by research scholars, academicians, and corporate executives.

We invite research papers from research scholars, academicians, and practitioners across different management and allied disciplines at the Nirma International Conference. The indicative sub-themes of the conference are mentioned in the tab below.
