Institute of Management, Nirma University Inaugurates MBA Batch of 2026-28

The Institute of Management, Nirma University (IMNU) formally inaugurated the MBA Batch of 2026–28 through the Inaugural Function held as part of Induction 2026 for students of the MBA, MBA (Human Resource Management), MBA (Family Business & Entrepreneurship), Integrated BBA-MBA, and Integrated B.Tech (CSE)-MBA programmes. The event marked the commencement of the academic journey for the incoming batch through two inaugural sessions featuring distinguished academic leaders and industry experts.

The Institute had the privilege of welcoming Shri Mukesh Kumar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher & Technical Education Department, Government of Gujarat, as the Chief Guest for the MBA and Integrated B.Tech (CSE)-MBA programmes. Also present were Shri Bhavin Mehta, Managing Director, Constera Realty Pvt. Ltd., Dr. R. N. Patel, Director General, Nirma University, Prof. Nityesh Bhatt, Dean, Institute of Management, Nirma University, and Prof. Shahir Bhatt, Chairperson, MBA and Integrated B.Tech (CSE)-MBA Programmes. Shri Mukesh Kumar delivered the inaugural address, sharing insights on the transformative role of artificial intelligence and its growing influence on innovation, adaptability, and responsible leadership across industries.

The second inaugural session welcomed Shri Pankaj Gupta, Chief Executive Officer, ITUAL (an IL&FS entity) as the Chief Guest for the MBA (Human Resource Management), MBA (Family Business & Entrepreneurship), and Integrated BBA-MBA programmes. Also present were Shri G. Ramachandran Nair, Executive Registrar, Nirma University, Prof. Nityesh Bhatt, Dean, Institute of Management, Nirma University, Prof. Hardik Shah, Chairperson, MBA (Human Resource Management), Prof. Harsh Pratap Singh, Chairperson, Integrated BBA-MBA Programme, and Prof. Dipti Saraf, Chairperson, MBA (Family Business & Entrepreneurship). Shri Pankaj Gupta delivered the inaugural address he encouraged students to cultivate positive attitude, learning aptitude, and right character while emphasizing customercentricity, analytical thinking, adaptability, effective resource management, and the creation of
differentiated value in an evolving business environment.
