On 19th September, The Former Indian Cricketer, Shri Gautam Gambhir graced the Nirma University campus with his presence when he joined the talk show organized by The BBA Club of IMNU, Advaiya. RJ Ekta Sandhir, the host for the show, was a great mediator between the guest and the audience. With excitement prevailing to meet Mr. Gambhir, she made the atmosphere very lively and cheerful. The energy state of the students was higher than normal.
The guest spoke about cricket as his passion, and how politics was a turning point in his life. He motivated the audience with his views on various aspects. He told, Indian Army was his first love and Shaheed Bhagat Singh is his idol. On being asked about his strengths, he said that he considered insecurity as his biggest strength because it pushed him hard every time. Being the former captain of Kolkata Knight Riders, he said how he focused on being a Leader rather than a Captain. The rapid fire round was the major eyecatcher of the show. The last round was where Mr. Gambhir interacted with the students and answered the questions asked by them.
The crowd lauded the former cricketer with cheers and thanked him for his inspirational and valuable insights.
