The Website, Media, and Corporate Communication Committee is the face of the Institute of Management, Nirma University. It seeks to differentiate and develop the educational brand across multiple platforms. WMCCC’s team has carved out a reputation for itself and the institution throughout the years. As part of the Corporate Relationship Cell, it conducts interviews with all industry leaders invited to the Institute.
The committee has managed to accomplish its goals by showcasing the achievements in various newspaper articles, gained considerable social media coverage of events like NICOM, Perspective Richter – 10, several conclaves by strengthening its ties with different print and digital media.
At the Institute level, the WMCCC team covers events such as the Lecture Series, the Nirma Champions League, and numerous events hosted by the Institute’s different clubs and committees.
WMCCC has established a significant social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. It has its blog as well. The committee has ensured that team members are encouraged to express their creative side and take pride in promoting the Institute of Management as a whole.
Website, Media and Corporate Communication Committee, earlier known as the Media and PR Committee of the Institute of Management, Nirma University, organized a workshop on writing in association with ‘terribly tiny tales’. The workshop was organised on the October 21, 2018.
The workshop was conducted by Ms. Sanjana Singh, Chief Curator, terribly tiny tales. Ms. Singh shared a few tips on how to write effectively. Besides promoting the ideas in a right manner, making tiny tales also consists of writing with brevity in mind- not to overload the reader with information. Workshops like these are an important part of any student’s life- outside of the academic development, they help the students discover their interests in ways never experienced before.
