Expert lecture in Marketing – Strategic Marketing: Concept of Value Selling and What it Takes to Sell Real Value

On March 30th, the Institute of Management, Nirma University, as a part of their Silver Jubilee celebration hosted an Expert Lecture in Marketing. The lecture was based on Strategic Marketing and focused on concepts of Value Selling and what it takes to sell real value. The lecture was attended by students and faculties of Institute of Management, Nirma University. During the lecture, attendees shared opinions, thoughts and ideas for consideration on discussed Cases and examples of Value selling.

The keynote Speaker was Mr. Amit Chhabra, Vice President, RTM & Indirect Channel Excellence at Shell Lubricants India. Mr. Amit spoke about concepts of Perceived Value and Value Selling.  He discussed the need of Reactive Vs Proactive Sales techniques in different situations.  The criticality of sales funnel was explained by him through various examples. The speaker also gave students a brief idea about Customer’s perception about value and how marketers should build upon consumer’s perception. Around 150 students from various programs of IMNU attended the lecture.
