Executive Diploma Programmes

Institute of Management caters to fulfil the needs of working executives, managers and entrepreneurs. In this regard, the Institute launched Executive Diploma Programmes in the year 1999. Since then, the Institute has been offering different diploma programmes every year keeping in keeping in mind the requirements of the target audience. During the academic session of 2019-20, we propose to offer five programmes: (i) EDP in Marketing (ii) EDP in Finance, (iii) EDP in International Business, (iv) EDP in Operations Management and (v) EDP in Human Resource Management.

The programme is conducted subject to participation of minimum 20 participants. The Programmes aim at upgrading the knowledge and skills of the working executives and provide them with better career progression in the relevant area. These programmes are conducted only on Sundays to provide an opportunity of formal learning to the working executives with a convenient time.

After undergoing this programme, the student shall be able to:

  • Use relevant conceptual frameworks and best management practices
  • Scan socio-economic-technical
  • political- ecological -legal environment at national and international levels affecting organizations
  • Make effective decisions
  • Demonstrate functional leadership
  • teamwork and social skills
  • Demonstrate understanding of business and organizational contexts for effective decision making
