Research and Publication play a major role in the academic development of the Institute of Management, Nirma University. The faculty members, research scholars, and students at the Institute of Management follow high standards in innovation, academic research, and publications. The institute is committed to inspiring its academic community to engage in research and publication activities that enrich academia and are relevant to the practitioners.

The Institute provides a conducive environment for faculty members, students, and alumni to carry out cutting-edge research in the area of management. The institute often encourages faculty members to pursue their research interests, collaborate with other researchers, and bring out quality publications in top-rated national and international journals.

The Institute organises an international conference annually (Nirma International Conference on Management, NICOM) that provides a platform for its faculty members and students to interact with peers and exchange ideas. Institute also offers doctoral degree programmes that integrate education and research. It organises ANVESH, a Doctoral Research Conference in Management, which also conducts Research Clinics and Research Workshops. Selected papers from ANVESH and NICOM are published in form of books every year.
Nirma University Journal of Business and Management Studies (NUJBMS) is a reputed journal with quarterly publications. It publishes conceptual research articles, case studies, practitioners viewpoints, interviews with experts, and book reviews. Faculty members also publish the reports of their funded Major and Minor Projects.

BBA Research Committee

Research Committee provides a conducive platform for students to enhance their knowledge and stay befitting in this competitive environment. BBA Research Committee aims to make students understand the importance of research in Management. The various events organized by the committee are designed in away to bring out the researcher inside the student. The aim of this committee is to encourage people to come out in the open and express their opinion and help the students gain recognition for the same. The BBA Research Committee is set up at the Department of Undergraduate Studies, Institute of Management, Nirma University with the following objectives:

• Regular orientation programmes on Research Methodology and Statistics for students
• To promote & encourage undergraduate students to do research
• To guide undergraduate students in preparing research papers
• Enhance the quality of research publications by students and publications in indexed journals.
