The Institute of Management, Nirma University (IMNU) proudly hosted the campus launch event of SBI Life Insurance’s IdeationX 2.0, a national-level business school innovation challenge centred on the theme “Insurance for All.”
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of over 350 first- and second-year MBA students, who engaged in an insightful and interactive session with senior leaders from SBI Life.
Mr. Ravindra Sharma, EVP & Chief of Brand, Corporate Communication & CSR at SBI Life, introduced the DIVE framework – Discover, Ideate, Validate, Elevate – encouraging students to think consumer-first and communicate ideas with clarity and speed. He emphasised the role of youth in shaping innovative, real-world solutions.
Following this, Mr. Santosh Chacko, Zonal Director – East, shared insights into the life insurance industry’s growth potential and its role in supporting families and national development. He emphasised the need for fresh thinking in a sector where penetration remains low, despite its significant societal importance.
Students were briefed on the multi-stage format of IdeationX 2.0, which will span over 100 B-schools and engage more than 25,000 students across India. The event concluded with a vibrant Q&A session, offering students valuable perspectives on innovation, impact, and careers in the insurance sector.
The campus launch underscored IMNU’s commitment to fostering industry-academia collaboration and providing platforms for purpose-driven student innovation.
