IMNU Hosts Alumni Lecture Series on Navigating Complex Organizations

The Institute of Management, Nirma University (IMNU), through its Alumni Relations Committee Kaizen, conducted an enlightening session as part of its Alumni Lecture Series. The event featured Ms. Gunjan Yogendra, a Volunteering Mentor at Katalyst India and an alumna from the 2000 batch, who spoke to students on the topic of “Navigating Complex Organizations.”

With more than 20 years of experience in sales, operations, research, and strategic leadership, Ms. Yogendra shared her valuable insights into managing the complexities of organizations. The session commenced with a warm welcome from Prof. Jayesh Aagja, who presented a bouquet to the speaker. Ms. Yogendra expressed her appreciation to faculty members Dr. Nina Muncherji and Prof. Aagja for their unwavering support throughout her career.

The lecture delved into essential topics such as organizational structures, Key Result Areas (KRAs), aligning diverse objectives, and adapting to dynamic changes. Ms. Yogendra emphasized the importance of clear communication, strategic influencing, and understanding human psychology when facing challenges within organizations.

Participants gained practical strategies for remaining relevant and resilient in fast-paced professional settings. She also provided actionable advice on overcoming chaos, aligning teams, and thriving in the face of uncertainty. The session reinforced IMNU’s mission to connect students with industry leaders by
providing real-world insights into leadership, organizational behavior, and human-centric management. Students were equipped with knowledge and tools that will assist them in navigating complex corporate structures and achieving success in their careers.
