Masters in Business Administration (Communication)

MBA (Communication) is commencing from 2022 and it is a two-year full-time residential programme and follows a trimester system. The programme aims to develop skilled and trained professionals at the managerial level in the fields, such as Marketing Communication, Digital Communication, Media Planning and Management, and Corporate Communication. The first year of the programme focuses on core courses from the areas such as; business management, communication and design. The programme is high on experiential learning offering a total of four field courses spread over two years. In the second year, the students will have the option to choose electives from the basket of specialized courses.

MBA (Communication) is a two-year full-time residential programme and follows a trimester system. The first year consists of core courses. The second-year comprises elective courses. Four experiential-based field courses are also part of the programme. A summer project is scheduled at the end of the first year.

Duration: 2 Years (six terms, duration of 10 to 12 weeks per term)

Credit Requirements: Total 102 Credit Hours

Summer Project Duration: 8-10 Weeks

The programme focuses on student-centred learning where students will be partners in the design and development of learning. Key highlights of the adopted pedagogy are:

  • The emphasis will be given to the following four pedagogical tools and techniques:
    • Case Method
    • Project Work
    • Studio Learning
    • Reflective Learning
  • Interdisciplinary faculty – Wherever applicable, team-teaching from different departments, such as; Design, Technology, etc.
